The weekly Farmers Market on the Plaza in Arcata is a beloved Saturday morning staple. And what better place to spend the day in May when all good people will be called home? Talk about The Rapture!

Spring Floods

There’s between 140-180% of “normal” snowpack up in the mountains, and that’s starting to melt and flow downhill, through our yard, flooding the subdivisions foolishly built on the floodplains, and inundating hundreds of acres in the middle of Cache Valley.
