FOR THE GLORY!

The annual semi-controlled insanity “For the Glory!” that is the Kinetic Sculpture Race launches on a beautiful May day from the Arcata Plaza. Hundreds turned out to send the wild human-powered machines on their three-day race over roads, dunes, beach, Humboldt Bay and hills. Hey, Stella!!!!

A new dog added to the family doesn’t happen that often. Stella, a 12-week-old “Lab-something,” joins Sadie. She’s fearless and adorable (duh. she’s a puppy). Our sixth dog.
